On Monday 4th August, members enjoyed a fascinating outing to the SODC Recycling Centre, organised by our International Officer, Zanni Mason.
Kitted out in hi-vis vests, the group was given a guided tour of the facility, learning about the anaerobic digestion process and how waste is converted into renewable energy — an eye-opening look at sustainability in action.
It was a great opportunity for members to get out together, learn something new, and enjoy each other’s company on a summer’s day. Thank you to Zanni for organising, and to the team at the SODC Recycling Centre for hosting us.
